The Legacy Church is a new Christian community being formed for adults 60+ — a place where wisdom becomes ministry, retirement becomes a new calling, and every generation has something to give and receive.
We believe later life can be a season of extraordinary spiritual purpose. The Legacy Church will gather people who have lived, loved, worked, struggled, raised families, built communities, and accumulated wisdom — and invite them to ask a new question: What might God want to do through me now?

The Legacy Church will be intentionally intergenerational. Older adults bring experience, mentorship, stories, and wisdom. Younger people bring energy, technology, creativity, and new perspectives. Everyone gets to be both teacher and student.

The Legacy Church is currently seeking founding board members and a core team in Rochester. You do not need to have planted a church before. We are looking for people who believe older adults deserve a vibrant spiritual community built around purpose, dignity, friendship, faith, and legacy.
Help shape governance, vision, accountability, partnerships, fundraising, and the long-term direction of the church plant.
Help shape worship, hospitality, outreach, small groups, technology, storytelling, service projects, and launch events.
We are starting with conversation, meals, relationships, prayer, and a small group of people willing to imagine what church could become in the second half of life.
